AAMHI was asked to co-host a county-wide panel on student mental health alongside Director of Psychological Services, Dr. Christina Connolly-Chester. The Waymaking Special is a yearly event which includes a keynote speaker and a student panel. This was a great opportunity to reach students, county officials, families, and community members from across the county with over 200 in-person attendees and 800+ streams. The goal was to de-stimatize conversations surrounding mental health and help spread awareness amongst families and the community at-large.
